MREPC is organising a specialised mission on engineering rubber products (ERP) to Jakarta and Medan, Indonesia from 26 - 30 April 2017. The mission will be led by the CEO of MREPC, Ms Low Yoke Kiew. A seminar themed "Risk Mitigation Against Earthquakes Through High-Damping Technology" will be held in Jakarta on 27 April and in Medan on 29 April. Several international and local speakers will be presenting papers at the seminars. The seminars present an excellent opportunity for civil and structural engineers, engineering consultants, professors and students in engineering from universities, and officers from construction firms, relevant organisations and regulatory authorities to learn current developments in structural bearing products. In addition, the participants will be able to establish networking with experts in seismic rubber bearings. MREPC is also arranging business meetings during the mission for participants to establish contacts, generate new business leads and meet potential distributors or partners.
